Registration Guidelines

This is an individual competition.
Competitors for the da’wah pitch competition MUST obtain an instructor’s verbal or written nomination. The name of the nominating instructor must be entered on the registration form at the time of purchasing tickets.
All competitors must have purchased their 360 Self-Development convention tickets by 11:59 PM on Friday, May 24th, 2024.
A maximum of 10 competitors will be selected to participate.

The da’wah pitch competition is a single-elimination bracket tournament. There are 3 consecutive rounds: Preliminaries, Semifinals, and Finals.
1. Preliminaries consists of 10 competitors delivering speeches in order of sequence. The top 5 competitors will advance to Semi-Finals.
2. Semifinals follow the same structure as Preliminaries with 5 competitors delivering speeches in order of sequence. The top 2 competitors will advance to Finals
3. Finals follow the same question procedure as Preliminaries and Semifinals, with the final 2 speakers competing for 1st place. The 1st place prize is $100 for the winning speaker.
Competitors will have 3 minutes to present a researched speech on a different preassigned topic in each round.
Topics and scoring rubrics will be released 10 days before the competition, on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
This is an in-person competition. All competitors must be present on-site on the day of the convention.

Before each round, an instructor from the i3 Institute will introduce the preassigned topic.
Competitors will be called up one by one to give their speeches and will be graded on a rubric by judges.
